UPDATE: 2:45 p.m. 12/21/12

At this time, all known TCL&P customer outages have been restored. TCL&P will now provide assistance to Cherryland Electric Cooperative to assist in their restoration efforts.

 

If a TCL&P customer experiences a power outage, they are asked to report it by calling 231-922-4940.

 

 

9:30 a.m. 12/21/12

Beginning in the early evening of December 20th and throughout the morning of December 21st, Traverse City Light & Power (TCL&P) had approximately 300 scattered power outages. Customers were without power for no more than two hours at a time. Crews worked through the night to restore power for the affected customers and will continue to address issues throughout the day as needed. Currently three customers are without power and approximately 150 customers have partial power and crews are on scene working to restore full power. 

 

TCL&P has received a request to assist Cherryland Electric Cooperative with their restoration efforts. TCL&P will continue to evaluate providing assistance to Cherryland, pending weather conditions and TCL&P’s own restoration progress.
