This program was previously under Net Billing and is also referred to as Distributed Energy Resources (DER). This program is designed to help customers integrate small-scale energy generation or storage systems, such as solar panels or batteries, with TCLP\u2019s electric distribution system, allowing customers to generate or store electricity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>What is DER?<\/h4>\n<p>Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) are small energy systems that generate or store electricity. These systems are customer-owned, maintained, and interconnected with TCLP\u2019s grid, producing energy for local consumption. fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Understand Program Requirements<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Review, fill out, and sign the <a TCLP receives your completed application, TCLP will:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>TCLP will send a confirmation email that the application has been received, and no further documentation is required.<\/li>\n<li>Review it for completeness and safety compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct an Interconnection Study to assess the system\u2019s impact on TCLP\u2019s grid.\n<ul>\n<li>Installations above 500kW may require an in-depth study with additional fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><strong>Step 3: Application Approval<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">TCLP will inform you via email if your application is approved, along with any costs associated with required upgrades to install a facility of the requested size. At this time, the customer may elect to change the installation size to avoid any costs associated with system upgrades, continue paying for the required system upgrades, or rescind their
