Time-of-Use Commercial Rates<\/h1>\n

Taking effect in December 2025, TCLP will be moving to time-of-use rates. These rates are billed on an on- and off-peak cycle during the week. Weekends and holidays are off-peak.<\/span><\/p>\n

With reliable service and low rates in the Traverse City area, TCLP can help your business succeed!<\/p>\n

There are several different commercial rates, and business customers should contact a customer service representative whenever changes occur that may impact energy requirements. This could include changes to building sizes or changes to electrical equipment.<\/p>\n

Upon request, a customer service representative will analyze your energy requirements and apply the rate that is best for you. All rates are subject to TCLP\u2019s fuel power cost adjustment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Which Rate Best Fits You?<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

As of December 2025, TCLP is offering two rates to commercial\/general secondary service customers \u2014 Eco Champion<\/strong> and Eco Steady<\/strong>, with on-peak hours and off-peak hours that vary based on the time of year.<\/p>\n

Customers would be charged more during the weekday on-peak hours and less during off-peak hours (includes weekends and holidays).<\/p>\n

You also have the choice to transition to the new rate over four years (Phase-In), or you can start benefiting from it right away (Non-Phase-In).<\/p>\n
