Current Residential Rates
Residential service is available to single-family residences and individually metered dwelling units in mobile home courts, apartment buildings, condominiums and multiple dwelling units.
TCLP offers special rates for customers who are dependent on life support systems. Upon request, our customer service representative will analyze your energy requirements and apply the rate that is best for you. All rates are subject to TCLP’s fuel power cost adjustment.
Powering a Greener Future:
Reduce Carbon Emissions During On-Peak Hours
For residences, smarter energy use isn’t just about saving money; it’s about making a tangible impact on our planet. By strategically reducing your energy consumption during on-peak demand periods, your home can play a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions and contributing to a more sustainable future.
By shifting or reducing your energy use during these critical periods, you can make your home’s energy consumption cleaner and more efficient overall.
Which Rate Best Fits You?
As of December 2025, TCLP is offering two rates to residential customers — Campeón ecológico y Eco Steady, with on-peak hours and off-peak hours that vary based on the time of year.
Customers would be charged more during the weekday on-peak hours and less during off-peak hours (includes weekends and holidays).
You also have the choice to transition to the new rate over four years (Phase-In), or you can start benefiting from it right away (Non-Phase-In).
Once customers select a rate, they will remain on it for 12 consecutive months.

Campeón ecológico
Shorter time commitment for on-peak pricing.
Works best if you can shift weekday usage to before 1 p.m. or after 5 p.m. in the summer and before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m. in the winter.
On-peak rate is lowest Oct. 1 through May 31.
This option may work best for electric vehicle owners and remote workers.

Eco Steady
More moderate approach for on-peak pricing.
Works best if you can shift weekday usage to before 11 a.m. or after 6 p.m. in the summer and before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m. in the winter.
On-peak rate is lowest Oct. 1 through May 31.
This option may work best for families and vacation rentals.
