Community Solar

The Community Solar Project is currently being developed by TCL&P staff and will give customers the opportunity to participate in a solar energy program.

A large solar array will be installed at a central location which TCL&P customers can support in a number of ways:

• Buy or rent a portion of one of the solar panels and receive a proportional energy credit on your TCL&P utility bill
• Pay a small monthly fee to support solar generation, similar to L&P's previous wind turbine Green Rate
• Purchase carbon offset credits to reduce your carbon footprint and expand the size of the Community Solar Project

Not a TCL&P customer? You can still participate through the carbon offset program.
