Rules and Regulations

TCLP has a new Rules and Regulations Policy that sets the terms on how customers obtain, use, and are billed for electric service. The new Rules and Regulations Policy incorporates and/or replaces fourteen individual policies into one policy and location. The new policy takes effect January 1, 2025.

Are you constructing a new residential or commercial building?  Do you need to upgrade your existing residential or commercial electric service? 

The new policy goes into effect for all applications beginning January 1, 2025. Applications for new construction and upgrades that are received before December 31, 2024, will fall under the old Underground Policy, as long as the customers are ready to take service before June 30, 2025.
