TCLPfiber continues to make significant progress toward completing the citywide fiber expansion. With the majority of outside plant construction nearing completion, the project is increasingly focused on the final work required to bring additional areas into service, including fiber splicing and testing, network equipment commissioning, and system activation.

Service availability will continue to expand progressively across Traverse City as each area completes the required testing and network-readiness activities. Because these final steps must be completed and validated before customers can be connected, availability dates may vary by neighborhood.

Our goal is to make service available to the majority of remaining eligible customers by the end of summer, with additional areas becoming available as final network commissioning and testing are completed.

Customers do not need to wait for the entire citywide project to be finished. As individual areas become ready for service, TCLPfiber will begin accepting orders and connecting customers in those areas.
