Residential service is available to single-family residences and individually metered dwelling units in mobile home courts, apartment buildings, condominiums, and multiple dwelling units.

Important Update on Rates

Traverse City Light & Power will implement Time-of-Use (TOU) rates beginning with December 2025 electricity consumption (reflected on January 2026 billing statements).

As part of this transition, the Senior Rate will be discontinued.  Current Senior Rate participants will remain on the rate until TOU takes effect.
